SERVICES TO ARCHITECTS
About any need an architect has for photography, I provide.

This would include, but not be limited to:

• Commercial buildings, interiors and exteriors
• Residential homes, interiors and exteriors
• Structures such as bridges, highways, towers, machinery, etc.
• Construction in progress
• Aerial photography, both oblique and vertical
• Panoramic views, both interior and exterior
• Digital retouching, such as removing power lines and cars from photos.
• Digital completion, rendering a "completed" view of a building in progress.
• Signage and graphics.
• Online posting of images
• Prints of any size, including portfolio prints, framed and matted prints or wall-mounted murals.

I am available for assignment locally, and worldwide. I have completed photography projects in Europe, Africa, South America and the United States.

COST
The many variables involved prevent a simple price sheet; but generally speaking, for reasonably local projects...

• Small, straight forward project that I can shoot in one session typically about $250.
• Construction or in-progress photography requiring multiple visits, I usually charge $100 per visit.
• half-day rate(less than 5 hours) $500 or less.
• day-rate(more than 5 hours, less than 10) $1000 or less.
• Large multiple-day projects, I typically charge at $800 a day or less.
• Aerial photography typically $250 plus the cost of plane or helicopter, usually about $4-500.
• Driving travel is billed at .40 per mile round trip.
• Travel expenses to locations beyond driving is on a cost-plus basis.

The prices are a guideline; I'm flexible and all things are negotiable. Let's talk.

TECHNICAL DETAILS
All work will be shot on state-of-the-art, high-resolution Nikon digital cameras and lenses, unless you request otherwise. Medium- and large-format film is available at your request. I can deliver your work as 16-bit RAW files, 16- or 8-bit TIFF files, or 8-bit JPEG files, in the sRGB, AdobeRGB, CMYK or ProPhoto color space. You have many options. You can make the choices, or, with your input, I can guide you through the process. I am an Adobe-certified expert in Photoshop, and can save you time and grief.

WORKFLOW
An e-mail or a phone call starts most projects, sometimes followed by a meeting to discuss the brief. Projects are scheduled relative to your deadlines and weather conditions. For larger projects, I may visit the site before shooting. I'll then shoot your project, and typically within 24 hours post culled images to my web site as proofs(not final images). Your suggestions are applied to the images for retouching and editing. Final images are then uploaded to DropBox, or FedExed to you on DVD. I'll send you an invoice and expect a check within 30 days. For very large projects, especially with clients I haven't worked with before, I may request a portion of my fee upfront.

I aggressively seek your business.

I strive to do artistically pleasing work, of course. But this is also a business. Therefore, along with delivering good photography, you will find me flexible, reliable, able to meet your budget, and meet your deadlines. The fact that I am still in this very competitive, difficult business after 25 years, says I must be doing something right on a cost effective basis for someone.

The photographs you desire of your work will not be the result of my photography alone, but of our collaboration together. You will find me easy to work with.

Of course I seek new clients, but of greater importance to me is to retain long-term clients. The longer we work together the better this gets. We will come to know each other, I learn what you like and dislike, and you spend less time explaining to your photographer what you are looking for. It's a win-win for both of us.
