No matter how you add it up, a class has to move at the speed of the group, has to deal with issues the class as a whole is interested in and meet when and where the class wants to meet.

A better choice for you might be a one-on-one session (or sessions) with Doug. You can now learn at your pace, the topics you want to learn, skip over the topics you already know or have no interest in, learn on your equipment when and where you want to do it.

Yes, the sessions are, on a per hour basis, more expensive than group class sessions. But in terms of knowledge gained per time spent... these are a bargain. The way it typically works is I come to your home, office or some neutral location, such as a park or coffee shop and for as long as you like, I'll teach you whatever you want to know about digital photography, Adobe Photoshop or Adobe Lightroom.

I charge $75 per hour for these sessions and need a two-hour minimum. We can go as long as you like. If you want a ten-hour marathon personal workshop; we can do that.

I can do this at your location.

We can do just you, you and a friend, or you and two friends. More than that, let's talk. I have done custom sessons for groups or offices. Last year a couple flew me to Florida for their own private three day workshop.

If this is of interest to you, you might also check out my photography trips, which are 7- to 10-day trips where I coach your shooting and critique your work while we shoot in great photography locations, including Romainia, Utah, Ecuador, the Amazon and the Galapagos Islands.

E-mail me if you have further questions.

I'll look forward to seeing you.
