More Photoshop Now is an advanced continuation of the basic Photoshop Now class.
For some people Photoshop Now is all the training they need. But if you want to go higher this is for you. The textbook used in this class is More Photoshop Now (available from www.nowbooks.us ).
If you are already have a good working knowledge of Photoshop you may choose to bypass the basic class and go straight to More Photoshop Now.
More follows the same format as the basic Photoshop course; ten four hour sessions, one a week for ten weeks.
Each session starts with a time for questions or problems anyone has encountered since the previous class followed by a quick review of the previous session's material. New tools and techniques are follwed by real-world, hands-on projects worked on in class.The CD-ROM that accompanies the course materials provides images demonstrating the techniques. Projects using the new tools follow. Some time is used discussing technical issues affecting Photoshop work, such as photography, 4-color printing technology, and the Internet.
Each session also includes a "cheap trick" and a "Text Trick which are "gee-whiz" sort of Photoshop techniques that can really jazz up an image. By the end of the two courses you will have 30 cheap tricks and 10 text tricks in your repertoire.
The course material follows each session closely so even if you miss a week, you can keep up by using the step-by-step instructions in the course material.
The course is held at Tulsa Technology Center's Lemley campus at 37th and Memorial in Tulsa Oklahoma. Limited to twelve students per session.
You don't have to have taken the Basic class to take this one. If you feel you have a good understanding of Photoshop you can just start here if you wish.
